Ian Phipps is an active member of KWCA, a warden for
the club and prolific wildfowl artist.
Since the age of twelve, when a local 'fowler invited
him to spend the afternoon wildfowling on the saltmarsh in the Medway
estuary, Ian has been spellbound by the North Kent Marshes landscape and
wildlife.
Ian has painted most of the KWCA shooting grounds as
well as other wildfowling areas around the country that he has visited,
including Norfolk and Scotland. In 1988 Ian won first prize in a painting
competition run by The BASC.
