KWCA Working Gundog Tests - Results
Despite being rather damp and overcast, this year's Working Gundog Tests were very well attended with 68 competitors participating in our exciting new tests.
The tests reflected the dog's hunting abilities in real shooting situations, including rough shooting, pheasant shooting, duck decoying, retrieves from pigeon hides and water work in the duck splash. Competitors faced hides, blinds, jumps, fleets and decoys, all of which made this day enjoyable and memorable for both dog and handler.
Many turned up just to watch and gain experience, or to learn more about wildfowling and wildfowling dogs from our many "experts".
The event raised £840
for the charity - Wild Space Fund.
Wild Spaces Fund preserves those wild spaces,
so that wildlife - and people - will benefit.
The Kent Wildfowlers wish to thank everyone who
